1970 Boss 302 brought to you by tannersclassics specializing in performance Ford and Mercury automobiles. I Recently purchased the car from the third owner. He purchased the car in 1985 with approximately 50,000 miles on it. Over the next 30 years he rebuilt the engine and had the car painted twice. The second time being about 5 years ago. It has had replacement quarter panels and floor pans and the work was done well. It was always garaged and now has 73,000 miles on it. I have the Marti report to document the car, it is also in the Boss registry.The car has the following options/equipment: magnum 500 wheels, front and rear spoilers, louvers, shaker, 3.91 traction lock, power brakes, non-power steering, in dash tach, center console, fold down rear seat, original space saver spare, jack and handle. The rear end is original with the tag still on the center section, N case, 31 spline axles, functional rev limiter. The engine is numbers matching. The distributor is the original dual point and the carb is the original 780 Holley. The speedometer reduction gear is intact. The fenders have rolled edges. The manual choke is intact and functional.Original parts and/or Boss specific parts that have remained with the car over the years. The block is matching number with 0F75454 clearly stamped on block right behind the intake manifold. The block part number is DOZE6015-C. The carb is DOZE9510-Z, the intake is C9FE9424-E, the distributor is an Autolite dual point C9ZF-12127. The correct heater hose water tubes, original rev limiter, functional reverse lock out rod,original valve covers, original shaker ram air unit, shaker bracket that bolts to the intake, Carter X fuel pump, speedo gear reduction at the four speed, original N case, 31 spline axels, 3.91 traction lock, staggered rear shocks. Non-original parts/editions: The wheels on the car are aluminum magnum 500, 15x7 front and 15x8 rear. The car has Headman headers, the original exhaust manifolds are included with the car. One manifold needs some repair due to rust. The shelby gauge pod was added to the center console. The previous owner also added a one piece expo brace and monte carlo bar. The oil pressure block adapter is not the factory original.The car runs and drives very well, it sounds awesome. The paint is very nice but does have a couple blemishes as one would expect on a driver quality vehicle. The interior in in very good condition.
