Vehicle Detail
*1 OF 1 !!!! *This car was hand built in 2003 for the SEMA Show in Vegas. (when I say hand-built, I mean this is NOT a kit, it was hand fashioned the old school way with sheet metal, english wheel, hammer, etc) *It was built to sell custom bumpers during the heyday of customizing PT Cruisers. The front bumper is patterned after the Viper bumper and the back bumper is a rolled pan with a flush L.E.D. back-up light. *It is the front page car of the website for trickcruiser. *The former 4-door was hand built into a two-door Panel. Fashioned by hand in steel, the hand rolled quarters are very well done. When this was done, even Chrysler dealers thought this was a factory built car. It was definitely built to look completely factory. A lot of PT's rely on add-on aftermarket pieces and/or fancy two tone paint jobs to get their custom look while this one is subtle and bold at the same time. The attention to detail is amazing. Check the small black accent just behind each door window, the yellow pieces behind each interior doorpull, the chrome used inside, etc. *It has Borla exhaust, Eibach lowering springs, 18 inch wheels with new tires. *It is equipped with a crankin' ~700 watt stereo, subs, cd player, and what is left of a subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio. *It took a top a 15 award out of nearly 600 PTs in 2004. Many other awards at other shows including: Best Bodywork, 3 BestPT's, 2 Best Cruiser, 4 Best of Shows, and a Gold Award in Daytona Beach (see pics). *The HHR Panel guys break their necks to look at this one-of-a-kind car. *It was the inspiration for a 1:18 scale toy. *I added the heat to the drivers seat. I have always serviced the car a regular intervals, and did the timing belt as recommended. I have enjoyed driving this car for the last ten years, but I am building something else to drive and am selling this one and my 1948 GMC Panel. (see my other listing) *The comments I get most; I didn't know they made a panel!, Hey mister, I don't usually like PT's, but that is Cool!! *I attached the copy of the clean and clear title, I don't know why Ebay shows it as Salvage. Must be a glitch! (I feel a little funny about covering my name and home address--hope you understand) The car is for sale locally, and will be pulled if sold.
