Sorry for all of this but, I've had 2 out of Country buyers ( Dubai and Italy) flake after wasting weeks of my time. 2 family owned classic Mercedes Benz 560sl model 107. All around great car. I just spent the weekend at a 5 star resort and the valets put it right in front with Porsches and Bentleys. Car still has class and style even after 27 yrs. These cars just keep getting better looking as the yrs go on. Guy I bought if from claimed original paint job but, it's not. It's a nice exterior but, has been repainted at some point in it's life. From 10 feet away she looks darn near perfect, but, with closer inspection you can see some age. There are some small dings in the front bumper chrome, 4 small door dings (2 on each door) and a few other really small blemishes (dime size or smaller). The interior is all original and in great shape, no rips or tears, just some normal wear. The hard top is in excellent condition and the black soft top is near new and has only been used a handful of times. The engine is very strong and even though it has higher miles it still has a lot of life left and has been well cared for. The last owner didn't have any paper work, but here's the list of replaced parts in the past 2 yrs. All vacuum hoses, starter, battery, re-manufactured fuel distributor, fuel injectors, spark plugs, cap and rotors, drive shaft, soft top, starter coil, and I'm sure much more-engine compartment looks really clean. I made a 600 mile road trip last week and everything went really well, car shifts smoothly through all gears and has lots of power. Runs great, however, it developed the high idle (1200-1400rpm in neutral, in drive it's ok)these cars tend to have. I don't have the time or money to check it out but, look at the forums and it's not that big of deal for someone who knows these cars. Has nice chrome rims and tires are at 80%. I bought the car as a gift for my mom but, she has a tough time getting in and out of it. Feel free to have it inspected and I'm happy to help with shipping. There are minor 1-2 inch cracks on the topside/back of the dash. The console is complete and still has a shine to it.
