For sale is our very nice Chevy Volt, we used it for our sales vehicle. It ran mostly less than 35 miles for each sales visit, so most of the 20k miles are on electric only. That means brakes have not been used as much and engine has run very little. Car has normal wear and tear for this many miles and year. All around this is a nice car. If saving money is your thing then this car is for you. National average cost of electricity is around $.11 per 1000 watts. You can go one mile on around 350 watts. Thats about three miles per $.11 of electricity at your home. Times this by 10 and you have achieved 30 miles for around $1.10 Compare this with a gallon of gas and a car that gets 30mpg on a gallon of gas costing (pending where you are) say $3.30. That means plugging this car into your home will be three times cheaper than buying gas. Not to mention, no oil changes, belts, plugs, tranny fluids, on and on mostly all go away!
