Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 911. I've owned it for about 15 years and it has been well maintained since day one. Here's a chance to own the legendary air cooled type 964 Carrera. There is nothing like the sound of an air cooled flat six working its way through the powerband. Four brand new tires and a new battery kick off the season. It is a tiptronic example, and I have really come to love that option. Porsche was ahead of the game when they introduced their Tip models and fast forward today, and it's as common their manuals. Here is what will come with the 911: Included two covers, one wolf, and one factory Porsche factory battery conditioner factory owners manual spare tirePorsche included tools Exterior I had the car touched up by the best car detailing in WNY last year. There still are some scratches and there are some small dings. I am not listing this as a cosmetically perfect Porsche. I can get into detail what I had done but essentially the car was cleaned up around the front window seals, sanded and refinishedIf I was going to keep it I'd buy another top as the stitching is fraying from the rear window insert. I've had it stitched by hand for nowZymol carbon wax was all that was ever used on the paintLED driving lights professionally installed Mechanical The valves were adjusted and the spark plugs changed at 45,000 milesOil changed every season with 20w50 synthetic with filter New front brake pads installed last yearConvertible top is now a manual. The electric motor/cable actuated process that Porsche had is a nightmare- simply put. The 911 has a Fabspeed primary muffler bypass pipe on it ($395) The 911 has a Fabspeed stainless steel slip on exhaust tip installed ($295)The 911 has a MSDS air filter installed AC blows cold PersonalProfessionally installed sound system featuring a very rare Macintosh car audio six channel amp, MB quart titanium speakers, and a JL Audio sub. Brand new Alpine Bluetooth head. The sound experience from this car between the exhaust note and the speaker system is special to say the least. Conclusion - I know the car inside and out and can get in to any details as needed. I am available to answer any questions. It has been a fabulous car for myself and my family for a long time and I am struggling big time in possibly getting ride of it. It flat out flies, sticks to the ground and holds a wicked inside line around corners, stops on a dime, adjustable coil over springs, aluminum suspension links, and an updated sound system that compliments the total experience. I am the owner of this car, not a used car dealer. So if anyone needs anything else let me know. Thanks, On Jun-11-15 at 10:05:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Updates: Zero Accidents 73,000 original miles Fresh oil and filter changeAdditional background update- I bought this Cab from a local dealer in WNY with existing salvage title acknowledgement- it was a no brainer for me. New it was $76,000 and any savings were passed on to me. Now it is the next persons turn. Simply put this beautiful 911 was stolen and subsequently recovered. Insurance companies do not care and once it was stolen the "salvage" title enters the equation. I feel it is important to let everyone know exactly what happened. It did not hit a wall at 120mph. It was not four feet deep in a New Orleans flood. It was not hit in any way shape or form for that matter. To be honest the car has not seen a rain drop for 10 years. What happened was thieves wanted it worse than its owner. So they took it. The wheels were stripped, the 1990 seats, mirrors and door latches as well. My dealer took this as an opportunity to give it an update and man did it turn out nice. It now has the updated (type 993, 1996) factory Porsche power leather seats installed and the factory 911 painted power mirrors (type 993) as well as factory Porsche door painted knobs (type 993). Anyone that knows the type 964 (1990-1994 models) knows that those cars came with antique looking seats and plastic mirrors and none painted door knobs- all of which shows its age and to me really detracted from the overall aesthetics . So the upgrades are both tasteful and respective of Porsche and still pay respect to this iconic brand. It makes the car look that much nicer and newer. The turbo twist wheels make this Cab, and the factory painted aero mirrors and door latches complete the package. As mentioned earlier if I was to keep it I would buy a new top (on ebay) and possibly fix the power top modules although, again as noted, I love not dealing with the automatic top as simply unlatching it and putting it down by hand is way easier. Other than that it is a just get in it, crank the McIntosh amp'd tunes, and drive it scenario. Something I really did not do enough of hence the low miles for 1990 911. Thank you,
