Up for auction is a pretty nice old CJ7 I am looking to sell. I know it is hard buying sight unseen so I have put up lots of pics. and info. Please take time to read before bidding. Bought for wife and she wants a newer one. Jeep is in really good shape for year and was told that it has 61,000 original condition. Cant verify but is possible for condition. It is a 6 cyl . 5 speed with P.S and P/B. Runs and drives good but is a bit underpowered for the Lift and Big tires and stock axles and gears. Has a little bit of lifter tick sometimes when gets warmed up good. Was told it is typical with these inline 6's. Always run real good and have had up the highway. Just kind of a dog on take off. re gearing would help for sure. Has Dana 35 front, model 20 rear and Dana 300 transfer case. Steering is pretty tight. Little play but not bad. Only leak I have seen is a few drops of P/S fluid when it sits in garage for extended times. I picked up another used steering box. May just need seal but have whole unit. Everything works including all gauges, lights, wipers, heat, etc.... It never had its top off till this spring and never had a radio installed until last month( mounted in console). Frame is in excellent condition. Body is real good for year. Has a couple spots on floor by roll bar mount and floor dimmer switch (look at pic.) that was repaired by previous owner and could be improved upon. Metal is cheap for these and better shape then a lot out there. Especially being original. Also has a few spots on body where it looks like rust was touched up. Overall it is definitely repairable. It was zebarted some time ago and helped keep it has nice as it is. Not perfect by any means but decent for year. I tried taking lots of pics of spots to give honest description. It is by no means show quality and does need some work but not by any means falling off frame. Jeep has Lots and lots of new parts in last year and most in past 3-4 months and am just looking to get some of my money back. Here is a list of just some of the parts. Clifford 6=8 Aluminum intake with adapter. Weber 36 carburetor with elec. choke and air cleaner Heddman 6 to 2 header with true dual aluminized exhaust coming out the rear. Clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing and engine was regasketed as well as transfer case. Mallory Unilite Distributor and coil, New plugs, wires battery, battery cables, alternator, fuel pump fuel lines, regulator, water pump thermostat. Polyurethane Engine and transmission mounts . Nerf bars Rough Country suspension lift with military wrapped springs , transfer case drop, sway bar end links, and dropped pitman arm. Along with Heavy duty greasable shackles and replacement tie rod ends and drag link. 35x12.50x15 Dunlop Rover tires and 10" steel wheels. Stainless steel brake lines( need rear line put on) and extended braided brake lines. New master cylinder. 20 gallon plastic tank and sending unit. Front and rear seats, visors ,and carpet. windshield seal and wiper linkage,New factory style Extended fender flares.., Has hard top and doors and comes with New Strapless Bikini top and window channel for mounting. Steel security console with Kenwood stereo along with 4 1/2" front speakers, rear 6x9" speakers mounted in roll bar speaker pods and is set up with XM radio receiver(will need to be activated) There is more like turn signals, marker lights, gauges and misc. little stuff. I will also include a a Heavy Duty tow bar and tow bar jeep front bumper for it as well. Came off another CJ but will bolt on easy enough if you want it. I also have some new tail lights and a box or two of misc. used parts. If still reading you hopefully are interested. Like I said it is not perfect but decent and presentable. My plan was to eventually v-8 it and then paint but wife would rather have newer avalanche or Tahoe or older 73-87 Chevy truck...who knows If mama aint happy nobody is and I could use room in my garage. It gets driven off and on and always fires up and runs and drives, stops and steers. Has Good WV modified inspection till march 2016 and WV title in my name.
