Up for sale is a beautiful 1957 ford retractable hardtop . I found the car in southern Texas. It is beautiful is and runs and drives the same way. The top works real good.IT has no hydraulic leakes or electrical issues. I have two sets of wheels and tires. The set on the car are new and the only part on the car that not original. The other set is original to the car .All are in great shape except one tire was cut and lose a section of tread. Body is very nice. paint has two chips on top of driver door and a scratch left rear fender by fender skirt but the older paint has a beautiful deep color and high polished shine. I have the factory fender skirts that go with the car but they don't fit with the new rims. The interior is original and is great thanks to the clear plastic seat covers installed years ago. I have detailed the engine and put period correct parts and Ford stamped: New coil, coil resister,voltage regulator, starter, 40amp generator which was only available for 57 Retractable, starter solenoid. Nothing is wrong with these parts but I just tried to make the car as dependable as possible. The original parts go with. Just installed a new polished Holley carb and car runs great and cruises nice down the road. Did not want to sell car running rough. But original four barrel is included with a new rebuild kit. I bought the car from a nice Texas man and it was his baby and it shows. My retirement hobby is buying pampered cars and taking it to the next level. So hope you take my baby and the same with it. She isn't a trailer queen but she has been a multi trophy winning high quality driver. Car is sold as is and buyer is responsible for all shipping. Wire transfer required with in five days of auction closing. But if it is a deal breaker I have a PayPal account and needs to be paid by the next day of auction closing.
