Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer SJ NO RESERVE Thanks for checking out "Herald" 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These are awesome vehicles that were built from 1963-1991, with very little body change, just cosmetics, why mess with perfection, a timeless look that worked and worked well. Everyone remembers these rigs, if your parents or grandparents didn't have one, their friends did. A 4x4, luxury 4x4 all in one package, that you could take camping and fishing, was just the cats meow. I wish Jeep would come out with a new retro version of it today, and yes with wood paneling. I have always loved these wagons, I have had a few of them in the past. The last one I had in my possession I used with a couple little 1960’s vintage canned ham Shasta camping trailers, they had the perfect look, and since most of them are V8 models great pullers as well. My first memory of one was when I was young, maybe around 6, some friends of my parents had one of these in the 70's, they had a small boat, on top of it, with small pull behind trailer, we went up in the mountain's with 3 wheelers and had the time of our lives. This is a nice example of a Grand Wagoneer, Survivor, original interior, original paint and Wood Decals, all original. There are no rust repairs or rust bubbles on this Wagoneer's body. Beautiful quarters, rockers panels, extremely nice, no rust. There is some light surface rust on the suspension, and general components, but no rust holes, or issues. The floors are really nice condition, the frame is in great shape, I show it up on my lift so you can get a good look. This vehicle is 25 years old now, a True Classic, with only 108K on it since new. I got it from the 2nd owner, who used it sparingly, he bought it when it was a few years old. He was retired at the time and enjoyed this Wagoneer very much, his family said that he had one of these in the early days and wanted to relive the glory days. I love to get behind the wheel of this sweetheart, drives like a dream down the freeway, very smooth, especially with the AC blowing Ice Cold!!! If you never got a thumbs up from someone before, believe me you will get them in this handsome wagon. Check out the photos, give me a call, if you want to know more about this time capsule. It is a nice rig, has some small chips and light scratches that have been touched up, but overall a great looking rig. With its original Paint, and Interior it is truly amazing, hard to find in this condition. You can find them restored, but to be Original, is a true find, classic cars can only be original once, and that is the way we and most people like to find them. The body on this Wagoneer is in super nice and sound. You folks in other parts of the country, will be amazing, we don't salt the roads here, we have mild winters and cool summers, which save many of our classic cars here in the Northwest. As I mentioned before, all original paint, not paint work, besides just little chips and small scratches that have been touched up, but overall way above the norm when it comes to paint condition. This is a Wagoneer that you can take to any car show or cruise-inn and have the time of your life. Being original paint, means, No Accidents, No bad repairs, No Bondo, just clean original sheet metal. The paint is very glossy, and good looking. All the original factory woody molding is in nice shape. The wood grain inserts are original, not restored. There were a few light chips in the vinyl that have been touched up, but you have to look close. No fading on the paneling which is hard to find actually in this condition. The glass is all original, no chips or cracks. When you look down the rockers, and down the sides, it is very straight, a few small, door dings, but nothing that stands out really, the wood paneling distracts from them a lot, but very minor. Chrome on this Wagoneer is in nice shape, all there, might need a light buffing on some but over all very nice. Believe it or not, the bumpers, are Aluminum, yes Aluminum, so they could be polished to a high gloss, but they look pretty nice already. There is some light scratches on the rear bumper above receiver but they could be sanded out and buffed. All the exterior lights are working, even the original Jeep fog lamps. The interior is in great condition and original. The seats are absolutely beautiful, very little wear, they had seats covers on them, that protected them up front, and no one sat in the back, elderly gentleman owned, notice as well they are both Power Seats and they both work. Never hauled anything, carpet is very clean, NON SMOKER, NO PETS. All the gauges work, the AC BLOWS ICE COLD, heater works as well. The only thing not working inside, is the Cruise control, and the upper console were the map lights are, the gas mileage and compass are not reading, they don’t light up not sure why. The Map lights and interior lights all work. The power windows work great, and also the rear power window works in the lift gate works great. The original Jeep fog lamps work as well. Overall a very nice interior in great useable shape, one that you would be proud to drive and enjoy. The running gear is original. These came with a 360 V8, runs very good, does not blow smoke or burn oil. It probably could use a small tune up, plugs and wires down the road, and general maintenance, but overall it runs great. When it first starts up it is a little bit cold blooded, pretty typical, but overall it starts up nice, and has a little bit of rough idle til it gets warmed up good. These in 1990 still used a Carburetor so you can actually work on this vehicle which makes it easy. This is the kind of rig, if you wanted to fly in and drive it home, it would make a nice road trip, obviously it would be cheaper to ship though, but if you like an adventure have at it. Shipping to New York runs about 1200-1300, Ohio, $1000-1100, Texas $1000, Arizona $800, Los Angeles $500, these are all general amounts but within a $100. Anyways, the AT transmission shifts great, nice and smooth, no u-joint or rear-end noise. The brakes are suburb, does not pull, stops nice and straight. I have driven this very many times, on small 60-90 mile round trips etc, and no issues, it is a joy to drive. The back half of exhaust has been changed as well. There are not any noticeable oil leaks, nothing on the ground, minor seepage around components very minor of a 25 year old vehicle to be expected. The tire have about 60% tread on them, and still look good. The wheels are original, some of the clear has some delaminating but very minor. Mechanically it is in great shape for its vintage. With that said, it is a used vehicle, and sold as is, and most likely you will make small upgrades etc to it, but the nice thing is that you can buy anything at your local parts house, and do it in your own garage. I do not for see anything in the near future, but it is an old Jeep, which keeps life interesting. These vehicle have been around for a long time, over 25 years, I am so glad that Jeep/AMC, kept them in service for such a long time.
