Vehicle Detail

Offered here is one RARE 1966 Rambler Rogue factory equipped 290, 4 speed hardtop....1 of 500 yellow and black....this is the 1st year of the AMC 290 engine and 1st year of a V8 in the Rambler American. This one was a "barn find" until a Chevy enthusiast came along; he unfortunately stripped the car of many of its parts including ALL of the V8 parts in the attempt or his thought to install a complete and updated GM driveline in it....I am happy to admit I was able to rescue this from him before that install happened and still consider (very loosely I admit) this to be a bit of a "survivor" as it appears to wear most if not all of its original paint (aside from a school bus yellow paint blast under the hood)....This is a nice solid project to start with and is very rare and hard to come across,....the car has rust but the rockers and floors are in remarkably decent shape....What you see in the pictures is what you get here and the car has a brand new front windshield and gasket installed (well over $300 there)....as to V8 and 4 speed parts, the car still (and only) has the V8 (I'm told) wiring harness (pictured in box), V8 springs (I'm told) front and rear, the 4 speed pedals, the 4 speed shifter hump and a clear (1966 Rambler Rogue, 290, 4 spd matching the vin under the hood) title.... I do have a long list of mechanical items (360, 390 and 401's...T-10 4 speeds as well as many other performance items)as well as more used parts, 66 American and Rogue specific parts and of course some NOS parts too! (ALL of these parts will be for sale to winning bidder at an additional cost above and beyond the auction price)....These parts could help this project along but please inquire directly and we can discuss in detail the what and how much etc etc.... I have found that I have just way too many projects that I will probably never get to and therefore is why I listed this...later this week and in the upcoming weeks I will be listing some other AMCs and AMC/Rambler parts as well....1970 Mark Donohue 390, 4spd Javelin in BBO, 1 owner (low mile) 1970 Javelin SST, 1971 Hornet factory 304, 1972 Gremlin X factory 304, 3spd and a 1972 Hornet factory 360 car....I also have a 71 SC/360 Hornet I may be selling as well as a 70 AMX 390, 4 spd.... Please feel free to ask any and all questions thru Ebay and/or call me direct, Dan 585-576-8012....This car is being offered in "AS-IS condition" and at NO RESERVE....High bid gets it....I welcome anybody local or willing to take a drive to view this car in person....Winning bidder to pay $500 within 48 hours of auction end, balance to be paid in full within 7 calendar days....I can also assist in loading vehicle with transporter. Good Luck!
