Vehicle Detail
1975 Pontiac Trans Am Super fun car, motor makes incredible power Starts, runs, and drives GREAT Has NEW clutch & plate with less than 300 miles on it Looks great from a distance but has some bubbling in the paint and rust underneath Posi rear end, roasts tires easily but they are still in excellent shape, have plenty of good tread Dual exhaust with glasspacks is fairly loud and sounds great, really barks and is almost new Update: Just pulled out of storage and driving it. I love this car, dont wanna sell it but I paid the $50 to list it so I raised the price to the least I will take to part with it. Body isnt great but its worth keeping in parts just for the drivetrain. Wife & I are going back & forth on this, I want to keep the car, she wants siding on the house. If it sells, it sells. PICTURES ADDED WERE TAKEN TODAY It is washed but not waxed They show front, rear, sides, rust areas, trunk, interior, dash Like all legendary Pontiac V8s, it doesnt burn or leak ANY oil at all automatic choke actually works Headliner needs to be re-glued, all lights work except tail lights, shift linkage is sloppy but functional, all gears work, rusty underneath but still solid enough to whip donuts and roast tires. On May-23-15 at 15:50:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional info update Has Sony Xplod stereo CD CDRW, Award door speakers and Pioneer rear speakers. I've never even turned it on or tried it Speedo works, tach doesnt, volts & oil pressure works, fuel guage and temp doesnt, never been an issue as this is one car of all I had or still own that I would not hesitate to jump in and drive it hundreds of miles. Looked closely and it has Edelbrock manifold and what apperas to be matching Edelbrock carb (looks like the old Carters Head casting 50 Block numbers above left of water pump appear to be 256504 with YT under it On May-23-15 at 16:04:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Researching numbers verifies this as a 75 trans am with 400 4bbl V8 per vin built in Norwood Ohio Correction, head casting code is 5C NOT 50
