1968 Mustang matching numbers and not too common 289 for a 1968 model.Has a C4 tranny that works well. All original except the distributor that was converted to HEI due to points and condenser getting burnt too quick,still have the original distributor and air cleaner to make it complete numbers car. This car has very low original miles, was parked in a carport for 30 years by the original owner, was last registered in the 80s and has been off DMV list thats why the plates are newer but the black and yellow came with the car and I kept them. I was the second owner ,technically but by DMV records, I will be the first one and I gave it to My daughter as a gift and now She wants a modern car so She needs cash to buy one. This car is mostly original except for the carpet and the paint that are both a year old. Came equipped with power steering and an in dash airconditioning that is again a not too common option, most of the 68s came with the AC unit below the dash that is in the way. I converted the AC to R134 so it is operational, has new heater core, still has the original radiator that I had recored and is a year old. All belts are new, valve cover gaskets are a month old,tranny pan gasket is new,oil pan and power steering hoses are new,sits on american racing classic torqs and has 90% tread left on tires, this car is a daily driver locally with occassional long drives from Fresno to salinas and drives smooth and fast. Has dual magnaflow stainless that sounds awesome, Has new alternator and battery. And yes this car can be picked up from My house and be driven to Your house if You chose to do so!Still has the original undercoating in the trunk as seen n the pics. The paint is based on the door tag and is period correct.
