For Sale: Ford Escort LX, manufactured in 05/1998. For Local Pickup Only The registration sticker is good until June 2015. Odometer and other indicators are working fine. The mileage is 106,128 miles. This is not a salvage vehicle. It has not been in flooded areas. It was purchased, and ran in beautiful California (dry climate) until two months ago. The car has been priced to sell, The auction starts for the price a salvage yard will pay for it. Exterior: a few dings and scratches (see photos). . Interior: normal wear due to its age (see photos). This car has never been in a collision with another vehicle (check the free car history report offered by eBay). I am the second owner of the car. Originally it belonged to a relative. I purchased the car in 08/19/2011 to go to college (highway miles). Good tires, air condition working fine, factory radio with cassette player, seats in fair condition (see photos) The car is sold "AS IS" The car stalls as I try to start it. The local mechanic is charging me money that I don't have to fix it, so I decided to sell it "AS IS." The battery is OK, there is a small oil drip from the bottom left front side of the car that stopped (see photos). The car was serviced 2.5 months ago (front and rear brakes were checked, tires are OK, new spark plugs, tune-up and oil)...but the car does not run. I don't know what is wrong with it. It doesn't work. If you are mechanically inclined, my lost will be your gain. You will have to tow it and fix it, or take it to a mechanic. Therefore, I am selling it (one more time) "AS IS." I have the Certificate of Title (pink slip). I am available on Friday and Saturday to finalize the ownership transfer. I will need your ID information to register the car under your name. The car needs to be PICK UP by the Buyer. You will have one week to tow the car from my driveway, at your own expense. Just the tires are worth about $200.00 for the set, plus a catalityc converter, good AC...so, you are getting a good value for your money. Mileage: 24 city / 34 hwy, when it was running.
