This is a very original car with one re-paint some 20 years ago, Now Silver/Grey that was a correct color for 1969. 2.8L In-Line 6 Cylinder, 4 Speed Transmission, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, 4 Wheel Independent Suspension, A/C, PS, PB all in excellent working condition. There is some rust starting in the Left Quarter-Panel but the rest of the car is in Very Good Condition. Convertible Top in Almost New Condition, Hard Top is Hardly Ever Used. I have owned this car for 8 years and have not driven it 8,000 miles. According to the MB Data Card, this car was originally sold in Munich Germany in the Fall of 1969 and I understand that it was brought to the US in the late 1970’s where it has had 2 other owners. It is an fine example of the design ingenuity of the time at Mercedes Benz. It has excellent road manners and is an elegant sophisticated drive every time you take it out. The Fuel Injection System has been rebuilt and tuned by Blackforest, Inc. a very reputable Mercedes restoration shop. All Fuel lines have been cleaned and re-plated and all injectors replaced in 2011. In 2013 the transmission was serviced with New Clutch, Throw-Out Bearing, Master Cylinder, Slave Cylinder, Shifter Bushings, Syncros and Gaskets. That same year All of the Brakes were serviced as well. New Rotors All Around, Rebuilt Calipers, new EM Shoes and Pads.
