You are looking at a real a sharp 1948 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck. This 48 ½ Ton has the right "Survivor look" The body is straight and solid shot in a Red Oxide Paint that has a wonderful as found patina. Original Flathead V8 Truck with stock motor mounts and Radiator. No Motor or Transmission available or included with this project. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This Truck is lowered in the front under stock with de-arched leaf springs and a Dropped Axel and tie rods from Sid’s Drop Axel. Open Drive line included and 5 on 5 ½ bolt pattern on the front and rear end. H-78 Wide White Wall Tires on 15" Black Steelies in the front L-78 Wide White Wall Tires on 15" Black Steelies in the rear. The interior is very complete, I've cleaned it up the best I could and it don't look to bad, I have kept everything on the interior original. The rear Ford flat glass and Windshield has a crack, while the rest of the glass is chip and crack free. The bed is very usable, metal over wood, for that farm truck feel. The body is straight overall. Good Original Bumper and 1948 Original Grill. It has patina, some dents and dings. Some rust in the front of the bed (see pics) That said the truck is SOLID!!!This Project Truck is for someone looking to just enjoy as nice daily driver or take it to shows it's not perfect it's not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool old pick-up. This is a California truck and has always been to the best of my knowledge, with clear California title and commercial Plates. Visible Vin and Body Tags.
