SAVE ME FROM BEING SCRAPPED I am listing this for a friend. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!! This vehicle must be picked up before 5/13/2015, no ifs ands or buts. If it is still here after this date it will be hauled away for scrap. The truck is sold as is ,where is. It is the responsibility of the buyer to remove it or have it picked up. Assume the truck is for parts and you may be happily surprised if you find it otherwise This truck will be sold with a bill of sale and the title has been found and will be signed over to the new owner on pickup. The built sheet was also found and it was originally built for the Aetna fire company in newark. After looking at the title and build sheet , it is listed as a 1963. A non-refundable $300 deposit must be paid by Paypal. Now for the information that I know or can see on this vehicle. This is an International C 1300 4 x 4 . It is a 1 ton truck with the small 8 cylinder. I believe this would be the V-8 266, based on the gross horsepower on the door tag of 155.8. According to specs, this vehicle weighs 10,000 pounds, I do not know the actual weight. The transmission is a manual , but I personally do not know if it is a 3 or 4 speed. There is a PTO lever on the inside. This truck was originally a fire truck field wagon. The wiring had been replaced. It was purchase by the current owner and did work and run, until the brakes went out. At that time the truck was parked in the barn. It has been sitting for 30 + years in the barn , so do not assume it will still be running without having to do work to it. I did not check to see what parts are missing, so assume there are parts missing. It is covered in dust. There are rust places and Bondo. The odometer reads 12574.3 (I do not know the actual mileage). The rear has a pintal hitch and receiver hitch. The front bumper has a Ramsey winch, with no cable or hook . The side window is cracked and there is writing on the window & hood. Do not expect the tires to be usable , I am sure they are dry rotted & bad. One is definately cracked and flat, and I can see cracks on the others . The back of the truck measures about 11 feet long. The truck measures about 20 ft 8 in overall , about 15 ft 4" fornt farthest forward to farthest back of tire , 6 ft 3" from outside to inside of tire and about 6 ft 9 in across the back . The back has several open cabinets and what looks like a pump or compressor tank in the center. There is a blinking light on the top that will be removed, prior to pickup and is not included in the sale. Once again, you must have the ability to move this vehicle out of the barn and onto a transport vehicle. We have no way to move it. It must be picked up and paid for in full by 5/13/2015, as soon after that the barn will no longer be in the families possession. The truck will be scrapped if it is not picked up.
