I owned this car for about 3 years. It has the prized ALH engine with a manual transmission (the best combo for the deisel Volkswagen). When I bought the car it had some water damage but, the car was so nice so I decided to save it, I replaced the carpet and the seats. I registered the car 2 years ago and since then, its my daily drive therefore it is also insured. Body wise the car is in very nice shape with all brand new Michelin tires. The car is also very clean inside. The only issues with the car are a few electrical problems which, I never adressed, the power windows don't go up and down (the back doors windows work). Also the power lock and mirrors don't work. The airbag lights are on and stay on all the time. The engine lights are on but I checked that and it's only for glow plugs. The car was serviced and has all brand new fluids and oils. The timing belt was redone by the private owner and also has brand new shocks strats. Like I said , mechanically the car is in good shape and I feel pretty comfortable driving it anywhere. This is not a reserved price option just keep in your mind you are buying it AS IT IS!
