This is a beautiful, low mileage Jaguar XK8 with only 28K miles. This is my wife's play car and we purchased it almost 2 years ago with about 26K miles, so obviously it gets driven, but sparingly. There was one previous owner before us, according to the CarFax report. I will try to describe the car as accurately as I can, mentioning even any small faults that I know of. In the time we have owned this car, it has never had an issue or fault code. It had just been serviced by the dealer prior to our purchase and we put it in the shop last year to have the oil changed due to elapsed time, not miles. The convertible top works perfectly and the car comes with the top cover as well as the black storage bag for the cover. We have the original books and manuals as well as both keys. The car has the optional 19" sport wheels, the tires were new when we purchased it, so they have less than 3,000 miles on them and still look new. A couple of the wheels have minor scuff marks, nothing major. The paint is in beautiful shape with and nice shine in beautiful Radiance Red. There are only very minor scratches/dings that I can send pictures of, they are small enough that it is difficult to get most of them to show up in a photograph. The Cashmere leather interior is in near perfect shape and so is all of the wood trim. All electrical items work properly, including all lights, switches, etc. The air conditioning blows cold and the heat is hot, both seat heaters work as well. The car has the optional DVD-based Navigation system as well. Overall, this is a fantastic time capsule representing the final year of this body style, it gets a lot of attention and whoever wins this auction will be very happy with their new car!
