1994 BMW R1100RS - This bike is mechanically sound. I have done all the maintenance, and I am meticulous about it. I go on long trips and I don't want to break down. I would not hesitate to jump on this bike and ride it across the country. I have owned many BMW's, airheads and oilheads, and have always done my own maintenance. I use Amzoil products for the differential, and transmission, and Castrol for the engine oil. This bike is going to need a front tire. I didn't put a tire on before the sale, because people generally like a specific brand of tire, and I figured the new owner could put whatever tire on he chooses, instead of me deciding.The bike has scratches on the right valve cover. I purchased the bike this way and have put over 20,000 miles on it with no issues. The valve cover works fine, but the bike was probably dropped at one point.This is a strong running R1100RS, I had a R1100S and this bike is faster, not sure why, but it just runs and is very comfortable on long trips.The bike is located 15 mins from Harrisburg, PA, and is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction early.
