I am 74 and have to start thinning the herd. Too old, too many cars. Got to make the wife happy. This is a sweet, dependable daily driver that is close to a show car if you desire it to be. I have the original documentation and many other original items. It has a tan interior that is in very good condition, air conditioning, needs a Freon charge. sunroof, am/fm Radio, alloy wheels, 4 speed and the famous BMW 2.0 litre 4 cyl. This auto has lived in Fl. its entire life and has been meticulously maintained. Just changed oil, lube, filter and all fluids. Also replaced the loose shifter linkage. Now shifts smooth as a hot knife slices through butter. I am a lifelong BMWCCA member and love these cars. To my knowledge and living with it, it has never been raced , tracked or in a collision. This auto is great for you to go out for a ride, you feel the road, smell the great smells of a really nice car, feel the breeze through your remaining hair, if your like me.. You enjoy life. This auto is 38 years young. She has some chips, a scratch, touch up spots but really looks great. The Dash has a few cracks, that old Fl. sun. Everything on the dash worked great except recently the odometer stopped. The tachometer and speedo work. Think it needs a new nylon $ 2.00 gear. Recently she has gotten, new carpets, new tail lens, new hood and trunk insulation. New side marker lens's, new chrome front window molding strips. New hood and trunk emblems, new intake boot, newer tires {4} . Frankly people that look at this auto are amazed at its age and everyone waves to you. This auto is only driven in Fl., at most ,1,000 miles a year. The only thing you made eventually might need are rear brakes. They are good but have been scheduled to replace in two years. These original 3 series have just started to increase in value. All the older 2002's are almost gone. the generation that grew up with the 320i are now coming of age and fondly remember these cars. I have a few 2002's and these 320i's are a definite refinement and technically upgrade to them. It is a great car to tool around town and and you can even work on it yourself.
