The stated auction terms must be observed to maintain this guarantee. This is a gorgeous Black Opal Pearl 1996 Mercedes Benz S600 sedan with 86,083 original miles. There has been only one meticulous owner since new, and this S600 is in magnificent condition. We have the full set of glove box manuals, both flip-key remotes, and the full set of floor mats. I believe one would be very hard pressed to find an equivalent S600 - for any amount of money. We have sold and serviced many 94-99 S-Class cars over the years, and it has been at least six or seven years since we had such a fine example as this S600. The 1990 - 1999 S-Class cars probably feature the best quality and engineering to be found in any production car produced by Mercedes or anyone else. Subsequently, Mercedes altered its longstanding practice of quality production due to unexpected market competition from the newly founded Japanese luxury brands, particularly Lexus. In 2000, Mercedes began outsourcing component production to other countries, and quality suffered dramatically particularly, on the S-Class cars. This S600 was made under the original Mercedes production ideology of producing the best car, using the best longtime suppliers of components and materials, all from Germany. This car was built under the spare-no-expense production theory, and it is still quite evident in this beautiful sedan. These cars were exceptionally engineered, and no production Mercedes since is as well crafted. The Black Opal Pearl paint is super glossy and lustrous over the entire body. Other than a few superficial imperfections and bumper rub marks, the body of this S600 looks incredibly nice. All of the trim is intact and in excellent condition, and the alloy wheels are clean, shiny and look terrific. There aren’t any dents or body rust, and the undercarriage is also clean and in excellent condition. The exterior of this S600 looks like the exterior of a three year old, well treated vehicle. * The vehicle history report shows a minor incident 12 years ago. The explanation given was a parking lot incident whereby the corner of the right front bumper rubbed against another car's door causing a crease. There was no damage to this Mercedes other than a scrub mark on the plastic bumper. Our examination shows that the bumper, hood, fenders and all hardware are original without any paint or body repairs. The paint is all original, and the only residual indication is the bumper mark on the corner. The interior is crisp, clean and in outstanding condition. All of the leather surfaces are soft and supple including the driver seat. The carpeting is super clean and fluffy throughout this car. There aren’t any rips or holes on the seats or carpeting in this Mercedes. The dash and door panels are in excellent condition without any cracks, UV fading or other damage. All of the interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in perfect condition. There is nothing damaged inside this Mercedes. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle and there aren’t any smoke odors or other odors inside this car. I drove this Mercedes for two days, and there aren’t any service or warning lights, and it runs absolutely beautifully. The V12 engine is super strong and smoothly, and the automatic transmission shifts flawlessly. The magnetic ride suspension works perfectly. There aren’t any noises in the steering, suspension or anywhere else when driving. The Michelin tires are all showing most of their tread, and the brake pads are in great shape as well. The oil and filters were just changed. This car should provide many, many years of excellent service. We tested the power equipment in this car for proper operation. I believe I checked everything, and every item is working. This includes all of the power windows, power door-locks, power door closers, power trunk closer, power seats & headrests (front & rear), power sunroof, power antenna, and power mirrors w/folding, and power rear sunshade are working properly. The stereo and speakers all sound good. The A/C and heat work great. All of the gauges and instrumentation are functioning properly. We have the clear title in hand, and this is a beautiful S600 in every respect. I would feel comfortable getting in and driving this magnificent Mercedes anywhere, and expect it to provide excellent service for many years to come.
