1971 Westfalia ***LOW RESERVE*** 1600cc dual port motor. Very desirable year as the 1971 is the last year of upright motor, early low light body style, & first year of the disc brakes. The motor runs like a top. Transmission shifts perfectly, no grinding, popping out of gear, ect. All the electrical works perfectly including the dash lights. The front & rear brakes have been completely rebuilt including new wheel cylinders, shoes, calipers and hoses. Vacuum hoses have been replaced. Nice tires. This van was meticulously maintained by the previous owner. New starter & heavy duty battery. Updated retractable front seat belts, there is also seat belts in the rear. Nice detachable roof rack. The front seats are in good condition. Interior cabinets are in good Condition. This van has a sink and a fridge as well a table and rear fold down bed. The rear bed has been reupholstered using new foam padding. The wood headliner has been removed, I do have a extra I can include in the sale. The pop top canvas could use a good cleaning. Very solid van, rockers, doglegs, undercarriage, frame and belly pans are excellent. There is some rust in the front floor corners as well as the battery tray. I have new battery tray that is included with the bus. This is not restored van, the body has some dings, scratches, a couple cracks in the paint and imperfections but she still looks good and drives awesome.
