This is a very rare chance for someone to pick up a nice rare truck & restore it the way they like. 1985 GMC Silverado C1500 2WD short wheel base step side. I believe it is the original engine & transmission. Edelbrock Carb & Dual Exhaust. Billet front grill. Has been painted 3 year ago. Tranny was rebuilt at 95K miles. Replaced the complete steering column in 2002, because my son goofed up the old one, while putting in a new blinker handle. Had ball joints, brake lines, engine & tranny mounts, spark plug wires replaced 7 years ago. New starter install 5 years ago. Rear axle replaced over 10 years ago. Professionally lowered & good 295/50R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Wooden truck bed floor replaced last year. Had all smog & A/C equipment removed 10 years ago. She finally gave in just a few week ago. Now has a gasket or some kind of water leak. The tail pipe finally wore through & needs replacing. Also leaks oil. Purchased the vehicle in April 2000 with 82,762 miles on it. Now it has 144,870 miles. I believe I am the second owner and as you can see in 15 years, I have only put 62K miles on it! Bought a new truck & don't need this one. I get lots of compliments on it all the time, from people who drive by my house. Understandably, this vehicle is being sold as is.
