Vehicle Detail
Low mileage Mercedes Benz 600SEC later badged as S600 6.0 liter V12 Car originally cost 134,000$ in 1993 ! something like 189 of these car were imported to the US in 93 Recently passed CA smog check with no difficulty 1/24/2015 Runs very well but TODAY 2/21/2015 while I was driving around to take pictures, reverse stopped working ! I have no intentions on getting quotes for repairs so I don't have a clue as to what it would cost. I have collected a number of spare parts that I will included with the car. DuoValve, radios, amps, CD changers, Vents, small chrome trim pieces ect. -- I recently bought a Dodge truck with Cummins diesel and decided this car needs to go. -- SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. NO WARRANTY IS IMPLIED OR STATED For this kind of money you could part it out and make 3 to 5 times your money ! UPDATE regarding transmission 2/25/2015 I started it, and tried different gears, there was a lot of weird stuff going on, when I finally parked it again it had these symptoms R on flat ground would start rolling backward but the engine was not pulled down like you would except N seemed to be the same as R D would positively engage and would go forward but when the gas pedal was released the car would slow to a stop. Thoughts, At this point I think maybe the reverse band/clutch is dragging enough to roll backward in R or N and continues to drag in D which is why it slows to a stop when the gas pedal is released. I think transmission repair is a must before it is driven any distance. I am going to tell anyone considering purchase to bring a trailer, I think it will still drive up on a trailer and if the trailer is sloped slightly downward to the rear it would easily come off.
