I bought this last year as a parts car for my 1973 TR6. Prior to that, it sat in a warehouse for eight years. I only pulled a carb and a few other parts form the car, so it is mostly complete. Before pulling the carb, I put a battery in it and ran some fresh fuel to the carbs. The engine turned freely from the ignition, but was not getting spark, so it did not start. I was told by the previous owner that the engine did run when it was put in the warehouse in 2007, so I believe with some work it will run, but no guarantees. I am pretty sure it has the overdrive transmission since it has the lever on the right side of the steering column, but I can not test it. The body is in poor shape with rust and bondo. Large dent on the hood from an object falling on it. The interior is mostly all there. The wheels are in very good condition, as are the tires. However, the tires are old. I was offered $300.00 locally for the car. I am listing it at no reserve and it has a clear title. I can show it to interested parties in the Richmond area. The interior is mostly complete and has a roll bar. The top frame is good but the top itself has some tears. Front bumper looks straight but needs rechroming. I can't see much of the back bumper because it is close to the garage wall. I can't upload any more pictures, but will email pictures of specific areas if needed. I consider this a parts car since it needs so much work, but I do have the title. The front right tire only holds air for a few days. I'll pump it up before a shipper arrives. On Feb-26-15 at 15:20:02 PST, seller added the following information: I posted a few questions concerning the TR6 and just want to be clear that it does not have overdrive. Also, all of the glass is in good shape as is the top frame. The bumpers appear to be in good shape but would need to be rechromed if being used on a show car. I found the missing wheel trim ring and the front tire is inflated and holding air. I also have the top in the up position for shipping.
