1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet This Porsche 911 Carrera is a rare item. All modifications for the wide body installation have been done by a professional facility who specializes in custom car design and building. Their attention to detail and design is superb! The following upgrades have been made to the car. Body Package: The Body Package came from Better Bodies Motor Sports in San Diego CA. This package is the 996 GTR 750 Wide Body. This package included: Custom Front Bumper, Front and Rear Wide Body Flares, side rockers, GTR Rear Bumper. MSRP: $3200.00 Additional Item is the 996 Twin Turbo style rear quarter air ducts w/splitters custom designed for the stock 996 MSRP: $350.00 This package has been installed on the car. Rear custom air ducts have been put in place. Custom stainless steel brackets were fabricated for the bumpers and installed. The bumpers, rockers and fenders have been sanded, installed and custom fit to the car. Doors: These Lambo vertical doors are a real show stopper! The hinges are from a company called LSD-Doors Part #50071002 MSRP $3988.99 This gull wing door kit allows you to open your original doors Lamborghini Style! In the course of installation the factory hinges have been replaced by these vehicle specific LSD Fittings. These doors operate smoothly. They have been professionally installed and the doors have been rewired so that all factory door options operate as they were intended. During the hinge replacement a revised washer reservoir has been installed to accommodate the new hinge clearances. Washer Reservoir Part #68520006 MSRP $132.00 Wheels: The rims are a 19" Porsche Wheel in Black and Chrome Finish made from strong aircraft quality aluminum. MSRP $1495.00 Tires: Front: Falken FK-452 235/35/19 Rear: Falken FK-452 315/25/19 MSRP $1400.00 These tires are brand new! Spacers were purchased from Better Bodies Motorsport for the upgraded wider wheels and tires and to accommodate the wide body package. We installed 1 inch spacers on the front of the car and 1.5 inch spacers in the rear. Calipers: All 4 calipers have been professionally powder coated in Red. Porsche decals placed on them and then they were clear coated. Cost: $1200.00 Exhaust: Custom dual Stainless Exhaust. The doors and hood are factory. They have been prepped and primed and ready for paint. Original factory labels are still affixed to the car. This car comes with a clean history report and clean title. I have posted in the listing a picture of the car prior to the redesign. As you can see the car was a non damaged original car to start with. The convertible top operates perfectly, the car runs and drives very well. The interior of the car is immaculate and all original. I have some miscellaneous parts that will come with the car, such as, the bumper has mesh inserts that can be painted to match the car or a contrasting color. I have many pictures of the car during the design process and will include them with the car. There is more than $50,000 invested in this redesign so far between the car, parts and labor. The shop that assisted with the design and build thus far is a top notch professional facility with over 40 years of experience.
