Should be flushed and have the filter cleaned/replaced. Engine runs nice and strong when it is warmed up, all carbs were rebuilt by previous owner in 2009. Power steering works great. Power brakes work good, should be bled and refilled. Currently have a short with the Horn and have the Horn disconnected. Heater motor is not connected either, but runs when power is hooked up. Wiper motor is not connected and not tested. Gas gauge works, tailights/headlights work, brake lights work. Be different from the Chevy crowd and get into an 88! Please ask questions. Wiring has been adjusted throughout the car by previous owners. Should be gone through and cleaned up. Radio does not work, most likely the tubes. The vent cables need more soaking to free them up as they are hard to pull. Emergency brake works. Body has had work done to it. There is filler in the typical places, rockers that I can tell and on the c pillar. I also have noticed areas where sheet metal has been welded in as well in a few areas. I have noticed several pin holes on the back valance under the rear bumper from the trunk. Trunk is very clean overall and has truck bed liner sprayed on it, please see pictures. New carpet kit from Fusick as mentioned is laid down, needs final trim and placement under dash. Door panels are original and are fine, not perfect and show their age, but they are there. Floors have been repaired by previous owner, with sheet metal and fiberglass under truck bed lining and sound proofing mat. They are very very solid. Frame is very solid. Rarer car with a lot included and done to it already, with plenty of potential and easy fixes for the next owner. Car is located in Ventura California. It is titled in Illinois. This car spent the first 3 decades of its life in San Francisco before being brought out to Chicago. That is all the history I have been able to get on the car. Please ask questions prior to placing to bid, I am sure there are details I have forgotten so no question is dumb question. This Olds is sold as is with no reserve. Bid to own. It's a driving project and in the right hands can easily be taken to the next level. Too many other projects and constant work overseas is the reason it is up for sale. Not interested in trades- bid to own. Best of luck!
