For sale is my 1968 buick skylark.I bought it from a neighbor up the road whose dad had owned it since 1974.He was a mechanic at the local chevrolet dealership.I use to see it in his driveway when i was little and always loved the slope on the rear end.After his dad passed he stored it in his barn for over the last 20 plus years.Covered in dust the first time i saw it several years ago i couldnt even tell what color it was.He had had a new vinal top put on it about 12 years ago with the intent on driving it again but never did.I brought it home and put 5 gallons of gas in it and a old battery and it cranked right up.Since then i replaced both battery cables,valve cover gaskets,air filter .oil and oil filter-original AC,a new battery,belts,spark plugs,wires,distributor cap,and rotor button.Car runs better than any new car.Appears to have original exhaust and probably needs a muffler.Has original spare tire,protecto plate,keys,owners manuel and owners protection plan book.Appears to have most original paint best i can tell,has had some paint work done on lh rear quarter panel.Has original T3 headlamps.Runs and drives great.Key buzzer alarms still when key is in the ignition and door is opened.Has original floor mats.Fuel gauge is stuck on full--sending unit just needs to be adjusted.Has original factory am radio,glass and interior,could use a bottom front seat cover.Has factory A/C that works,i put 1 can of freon in it when i got it and it started blowing cold.Left front brake tends to grab quicker than the others.All lightswork.Has light damage to lh front fender as shown,i recently put a newer set of tires on it.Car is solid from front to back with no rust other than a small pencil eraser size hole over rh rear wheel opening as shown.I also serviced the transmission with new fluid,filter and gasket,shifts perfectly.Sold as is,i wouldnt be afraid to drive it anywhere other than the brakes need a good going over.Selling only to pay some medical bills.Car is for pick up only.
