Up for auction is the cheapest 5.9 cummins diesel truck you will find. 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab(both back doors open suicide style), Laramie SLT model 2wd in the pretty rare intense blue pearl. It has the legendary 5.9 24 valve diesel engine, auto trans. Truck has 347k miles, but still runs absolutely perfect with no blow by. The body is in decent shape, you can see some flaws in pics on driver fender, door etc. It does have a gooseneck ball in bed. The interior: seats are in great shape, front and back. The dash is busted like all dodges. Has power windows, locks, cruise etc. All works. Dark tinted windows. The truck has new rotors/brakes front and back. The only issues with the truck: The ac just stopped blowing cold couple months ago-was working fine last summer. May need Freon. Just yesterday the truck quit going into overdrive. It still goes about 60-65 with no problems but after that the RPM's get too high for my liking(2500 or so). I have been told it could be as simple as needing trans solenoids, but may need rebuilt who knows.. Does shift good through other gears. This truck has a lot of life left, just needs some TLC. It could be driven home, just don't plan on going 75-80 with it. Again the cummins has no smoke, no noises, no blowby. I am pretty much asking the price of the engine, truck is free.
