Vehicle Detail
Ok here you have a chance to own a Ferrari and if there is such a thing as affordable Ferrari driver car then this is it. This year car is known to be reliable with the fuel injection engine and we are offering it at a low starting price with no reserve. This car has been owned by the same owner since 2007. The history we know is that it was purchased out of Texas from a old car dealer and when the car arrived in North Carolina it did show signs of some areas of rust. See a copy of the history report on the auction. There was a minor accident in 2012 in Washington NC, but there was no body damage or repair. Another driver bumped the rear drivers side bumper. About 7 years ago the car was repainted, but the prep work to repair the areas that were blistering were not done properly as they are evident again and visible in the videos. So you will see about 4 dime to quarter size blisters on the passenger side area and one on the drivers side. The leather interior is very hard and cracking. The interior has a musty smell, although it has been under a carport it did get some exposure to the weather thus the reason for the bubbles coming back. The car has a free and clear North Carolina title. I am listing the car for my car club buddy who actually is Italian and owns a Italian restuarant and if you do come to pick it up we will be glad to throw in a complimentary dinner for two at his Italian restaurant! He is selling the car because he has not been driving it and has put in a order for a new car that will arrive in 6 weeks. I have the car and title at my house. I have gone over the car and driven it. I took two videos that I will be posting on the site to show all of the areas I can of the car. I am not real familiar with this type of car, so if there are areas you need to see in the photos let me know and I can take them and send to you. The air blows, but it is not cold. I also could not get the head lights to operate. I will update the auction on that if I can get them to work. The turn signals and tail lights and brake lights operate as they should. It shifts smoothly in forward and reverse. The brakes work, but should begone through. We had it looked at at the import shop this week that did all the maintenance on the car and they said they recommend a complete redo of the brakes to bring them back to factory condition. The car starts easily and runs cool. Oh yea it looks pretty cool too - especially with the targa top off.
