Nice 1974 Honda TL125 Trials bike. Very stock; it comes complete with many hard-to-find TL pieces like the linkage shifter, original kill switch, front and rear fenders, side covers, factory tool kit, and complete exhaust system. This bike came from an estate sale, and it looks to have seen only moderate usage. It is still running the original Nitto Trials tires front and rear, and they still have quite a bit of tread remaining. The bike has been sitting idle for a while, but it started right up after an oil change, carb cleaning and adjustment. It could probably use a tune up in order to get it running in tip-top shape. The clutch is a bit balky; the bike wants to creep a bit when put into gear, and there is some slipping noticeable in higher gears. It may just need an adjustment or have sticky plates from lack of recent usage. Hard to imagine that it needs a new clutch, but that remains a possibility. The gas tank is in very good vintage condition; two small depressions near the tank/seat juncture ( hard to show in photos), and a few small scratches and blemishes. The seat is developing a small slit along one of the lines in the cover. One small crack is present on the front edge of the right hand side cover. The fork seals do not leak. A new set of reproduction Honda hand grips will accompany the bike with purchase. This bike is not a restored garage queen; it is a lightly used 40 year old surviving classic. It still looks great; lots of fun for trail riding, and a popular mount for AHRMA Trials events. Local pickup is fine; I'm also happy to have your shipper pick up the bike from my home.
