The interior is clean and shows almost no wear anywhere. The carpets look near new under the WeatherTech mats, and the aluminum pedal set brightens up the driver’s footwell. It has been sensibly modified with H&R coil-overs that lower the suspension, and a very mellow (not loud) Magnaflow Stainless Steel exhaust. The lowered stance gives street cred along with the extra cornering power, and the red cylinder heads and brake caliper covers are a perfect match for the body, adding a tasteful aesthetic touch that says “Fast Car!”…Cool!! The owner of this car is a lifelong enthusiast. He has spared no expense in slavishly maintaining this car. He has receipts well into five figures for the past year, including a complete rebuild of the timing gear system. New clutch, clutch slave, pressure plate & flywheel. New front axles. Extended Warranty covers: Engine, transmission (including all-wheel-drive components), axles, seals and gaskets, AC compressor, and electrical coverage. The owner also had the foresight to make sure the policy will cover the modifications to the suspension (it’s in the contract!). This extended warranty is transferable, and the balance is in effect to May 2019 and good for over 92,000 more miles. This car goes down the road like a thoroughbred should: It is fast and tight, but very comfortable. The suspension is firm without being harsh, and the motor makes just about the best V8 burble we have ever heard. We never even turned on the factory Bose sound system, because we didn’t want to drown out the beautiful mechanical symphony: The song of 40 valves singing up front, and a basso profundo from the back (voila, STEREO!) The variable valve timing performs makes magical enhancements to low-end torque – This is one high-performance engine that is never finicky about having to be “on the cam” to deliver the goods.
