I am selling this RARE 1/2 ton 3100 five window pick up truck due to downsizing my collection of cars and trucks. I purchased this truck in northwest ill. about 12 years ago. It sat unmolested in my storage facility until may of 2014. At that time, I had the 216 6 cyl gone through with a complete tune up (coil, points plugs, condensor etc) and put a new fuel pump and rebuilt the carb. I installed a rebuilt brake master cylinder and installed new rear brakes (brake cylinder, line ,and hoses.) I installed a new muffler and put a new choke cable and ignition switch on.

It fires on the first try and runs with no knocks misses or smoke. The three speed on the column shifts and the clutch works smooth. The shifter could use adjusting. The brakes (rears only) stop the truck fine. The metal on this truck is in great shape with very little rust. I took it to the next level and had it painted in october of 2014 in stage one paint and it looks great.

It has the vintage correct visor. To finish it and take it to the next level, these things should be done. The gas tank cleaned out or replaced with a new one (150 dollars) replace original wiring with new wire harness (205 dollars) recover the seat (seat cover on it now) and install the front brakes. All of the glass is there as pictured and the windows go up and down. The doors open and shut the way they should.

This could be used as a driver the way it is or you can take it to the next level while having fun with it. As the video shows, I drove it 50 mph on a 3 degree cold iowa day and the truck ran and drove just fine. It comes with a clean title ready for you to register.
