I have one of the nicest early style Mk1 Capri's you will find for sale. This car has a completely rust free body with perfect original floors and trunk floor. A one family owned car through 2014, originally bought new in Clearwater Florida and garaged most of its life. Car has the desirable 2600cc V-6 engine with 4spd manual transmission which are both original to the car. The engine was rebuilt about 20k miles ago and you can still see the new gaskets and freeze plugs on the engine. The interior had been redone in the same pattern and color in 2009 and still looks very clean and it is very comfortable. The original headliner, door panels, carpet and rear package tray are in very good condition. The dash has a few cracks which is normal for any 70's dash. The engine runs like a Swiss watch and is so quiet and smooth that sometimes you think it stalled at a light when it hasn't. Clutch and trans are also in great shape and the car takes off well and is a blast to drive. The car was originally brown metallic and even when fresh it didn't do the car justice. It is now 2014 Header Orange which looks great on the car. There is a modified 1969 Mach1 front spoiler and a custom made rear spoiler added to the car with the bumpers removed giving it a very sporty, period correct look. The original chrome bumpers come with the car. There are a couple of dash switches that were of poor original design that will need to be replaced. The original wheels were powder coated and brand new tires were installed. This is a vey bice looking car that gets tons of attention everywhere it goes with most people wanting to know what it is, since very few have survived. These also make amazing V8 conversions. So if you want something that is unique, fun to drive, and will hold it's value or increase in value, this is the car.
