The original owner built this about ten years ago, it has been garage kept, driven regularly. He has built many custom cars and restorations, started when he was sixteen. VIN PLATE ON FIREWALL Condition Notes Interior: It is like new, make sure to see all photos and videos. There are lots of notes under many of the photos. Rear of seats fold down to allow storage of items behind seats. The seats also slide forward and back, excellent. The gauges all work great, the backlighting at night is so beautiful. Simple to operate. This custom is perfect as she is, and is also perfect for that owner that would like to take her to the next level - interior, exterior or mechanically. One button on the dash engages the starter and shuts the vehicle off, the other button is for headlights and tail lights. Horn works, button in just under the dash by the turn signals and four way emergency flashers. The extra leg room inside this '32 you have lots of room. The seats are professionally made by Tea's, vinyl is soft and supple, and the seating is very comfortable. Does not have air conditioning, heat or a radio, but these could be added. One more mention again that the interior of this '32 has been stretched four (4) inches from the dash to the opening at the back of the passenger compartment. We have been in many other '32 coupes, room is really tight. The extra four inches interior leg room in this '32 Coupe makes a huge difference in leg room. Much more comfort for legs. Lots of head room too. So nice inside in every way. Exterior: As you can see in the hundreds of photos, this collectable is hard to find fault with. You can see a couple photos below that show a couple blem's. The paint is extraordinary, lots of shine, exceptional finish. The fit of all body panels is also exceptional as you can see in the photos. The hardtop comes off easily with just six screws removed. You should have two people to help you lift it off and on. This classic is beautiful with or without the top on. All chrome, glass and fiberglas in excellent condition, vehicle is hard to find fault with. Mechanically: There have been several masters at work in this build. Mechanically we found no faults. Ready for the road. This Ford has been driven, it is not a trailer queen. According to the owner who built this, engine is a 454 that originally came from a 1988 Chevrolet Suburban. When it was completely overhauled the engine is now a 462 CI. When this custom hot rod was built about ten years ago by the owner who is now selling it, all gauges worked great. There were a couple issues with the gauges. So in 2013 all gauges were returned to Classic Instruments, and replaced again with new gauges. That said, when that happened last year the odometer was denoted as not actual. The owner (builder) estimates 4,000 miles more than show on the present odometer. So the owner estimates about 9,000 miles total on this since it was built ten years ago. The clear Florida title shows it was denoted on 09/05/13 mileage was not actual. But this roadster looks like it's new, hard to tell it has any miles on it. It has been kept in a temperature controlled garage since built. You can tell the top quality in every area on this custom vehicle, mechanically as well. This '32 has sat stationary in the exact same place the last three months we we have had it consigned. There were no leaks noted at the time of consignment. A couple weeks ago we noted a small spot on the floor under then engine. Although we are not mechanics, from what we can see where the spot is (it is a spot, not a puddle or major), looking underneath likely new pan gaskets should resolve the issue. We checked all the fluids and all fluids are fine. The engine starts and stop flawlessly. Both pickup and acceleration are exceptional. The powerful performance transmission shifts so smooth - it's like driving a rocket. The steering and brakes are not power, but both work great as they should, steers easily, brakes just fine. One note, there are wheel stops installed that keep the wheels away from the suspension. This was done as everything else was, to ensure this is a safe, fun and reliable roadster to drive. Horn works, all lights work (high beam - low beam). It is street legal, has turn signals, four way hazard flashers, brake and tail lights and a tag light. It drives and brakes straight.
