MECHANICS SPECIAL 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4, AT, AC, PB, PS,CC, clear Indiana title. Engine starts but has a possible spun bearing or other issues. Started out as what I thought was a lifter tapping but then escalated to bigger problem. Oil changes have been regular @ 3000-3500 mi. intervals prior to breakdown. Ran great before this problem and transmission shifted good. It needs a front drive shaft for the 4x4, this was taken off at some time prior to purchase. Has newer tires from Discount Tire with 6,600 mi. on them. Had a new clock spring installed in Jul. of '14 along with some electrical service. Has new oil pressure switch (sending unit) installed in Nov. of '14, both O2 sensors replaced in Aug. of '14. 4 wheel disc brakes, (drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads) were installed approx. 12,000 mi. ago.Windshield has a crack across side to side, (rock), small dent/crease on passenger side rear quarter, rockers have a little rust low below molding . Aftermarket stereo is mounted in dash but is not hooked up. Other than the bad engine it's in pretty decent shape for a play toy or get back to decent driver. Buyer responsible for pick up. Will assist in loading on your trailer, MUST BE TOWED!!!
