relisting because of a person who decided to register, bid and then back out of ebay all on christmas day. sorry to all who were bidding but he is your chance again. i am selling this barn find for the neighbor. this 1967 ford galaxie 500 has a 390 ci engine with 4bbl carb and auto transmission, power steering, power brakes and factory air. it is a 2 door hardtop fastback sportroof. it was driven into the shed as the pics show in early 1993 and it hasn't been moved until today. been out of the weather for a long time. 3 of the tires hold air so we pulled it out and took the pics. missing rear lower window trim. it has a clear title and the pics are the best we could do to show the condition. we sanded the points and with a little gas in a can the motor fired a few times, but we didn't go any farther. no brakes and it has a few spares so it will be in rolling condition so it can be loaded. a few dents and dings but all in all not bad. floor pans and underside look good. no holes in floor pans or rear lower truck area. alittle rust around the lower trunk lid as well. bumpers and bent up and there is some rust around the battery area. factory air but the compressor is gone but the cowling and all is there. interior is as shown. looks the the bench seat is not orginal. truck lid is missing lock. i listed the door post info as well. located here in fayetteville nc. a good car to restore and get back on the road. hate to see it go to the crusher. not road worthy so i guess i can say it would be a good parts car or with alittle hard word it could drive again as a well aged orginal car. two options to pay. 100 dollar paypal payment within 2 days of end of auction and cash for the balance when picked up or full payment on paypal before pickup. he is willing to let it sit for a month to arrange pickup. no hub caps as it had newer rims on it at one time. carb shows c6af-l and intake shows c5ae on it. plate says two bbl but several viewers said it has a 4 bbl on it. looks factory, but current owner did not change it to this configuration. he has never put it on the road of changed the major motor parts. please let me know where i can look for additional casting numbers for anyone interested. email me with questions . thanks
