Carfax verifies this vehicle to be a 2 owner truck with 94k original miles. 1996 F-250 XLT Super Cab with the legendary 7.3 turbo diesel motor and an automatic transmission. Two wheel drive truck. Power windows/locks, cloth interior, power seat, keyless entry, power mirrors, cruise, fifth wheel set-up and good rubber all the way around. We do have the original tail gate for this vehicle which will be included with the sale. We also have an extra set of extended rv mirrors that will go along with it as well. This vehicle was obviously pampered by its previous owner. I was told that it was garaged its entire life. This vehicle was owned in Arizona its entire life before coming to Iowa in which it was traded in on a new Ford this summer. Its never seen snow or salt. This vehicle is entirely rust free. Zero rust on the body and the frame is spotless. All chrome is in perfect condition and shines up nice. No sun damage being that it was garaged over the last 18 years. The paint is entirely orginal and shines like the day it was new. All of the decals are intact and still look great. This really is a clean clean truck. Carfax shows zero accidents and all registration renewals were in Arizona. This truck was part of a family trust which was inherited when the owner passed. Old man owned and it shows. When we bought it reverse was out in the transmission. I had the transmission completely rebiult by a very reputable transmission shop here in Des Moines. "Sta-Rite Transmissions" look them up online, they are one of the best in the city. Included with the sale is a two year transferable warranty with Sta-Rite for the new owner. We already drove this truck through the break in phase and have put a few hundred miles on it since the work was completed. So the tranny is 100%, the motor runs absolutely perfect. Strong and very responsive, no smoking, blow by or knocks. The turbo kicks in like it should. Compression is right where it should be. This truck really runs like it did the day it was new. This truck is just getting broke in at 94k miles and has decades of life left in it. You wont find a better one in the country, guaranteed! The new owner will NOT be dissapointed. This truck truly is a gem in every way. Carfax verifies this vehicle to be a 2 owner truck with 94k original miles. 1996 F-250 XLT Super Cab with the legendary 7.3 turbo diesel motor and an automatic transmission. Two wheel drive truck.
