1962 Ford Falcon Ranchero for purchase. The Ranchero is the name for Fords coupe utility (which is the technical term for a car with a truck bed). The Ranchero proceeded the Chevy El Camino (the El Camino was actually a response to the strong sales of the Ranchero), and was advertised as the vehicle so you could drive a car in to town but also take your pigs to market. The 2nd generation of Ranchero was on the Falcon platform making it much smaller version. Ford believed the market wanted a much more practical, smaller vehicle and in turn the Ranchero sold well from 1960-65. This 62 Ranchero is Rangoon Red factory color.
