I bought the car as a summer fun car, and I have put less than 1500 miles on the car since then. The car is a real head turner and is exceptionally fast. The car has never been in an accident. Paint is as perfect as can be without rolling it out of a paint booth. It is a great car for street, track, or show, and makes a great conversation piece. Any questions, please feel free to ask. This is a beautiful car and you will not be disappointed. Did I mention that this car is fast, fast! This car is registered in TX but is currently in the State of Montana. I met Carol Shelby at his speed shop in Las Vegas in August of 2011 and as some of you may know, he passed away in May of 2012. It was a real pleasure to meet this racing icon and top off my experience he signed the glove compartment door. Now for what is wrong with this gorgeous Cobra…. I noticed that recently she has started to leak oil at the front seal, very minimal but still a leak. This would be a fairly easy fix and I will address it this next spring if she has not sold. I should mention that while talking about this Cobra or referencing her, the car is referred to as “She” with a nickname of “Shelly”. Please see pictures of the assigned license plate out of Texas. If interested I will make sure that this plate goes to the new owner. The plate reads “NUT YET” and is intended to have an Adult Suggestion.
