Very solid 1987 Jeep Comanche. Desirable and bullet proof fuel injected 4.0 straight six engine. Runs and drives very good. Recently passed state inspection. Has all new rear brakes, new rear bumper and all new exhaust and all fluids (Oil, ATF, Brake fluid) have been recently changed. Automatic transmission shifts properly and 4x4 works as it should. Jeep had AutoArmour undercoating when new and it was done particularly well. Absolutely no rot or rust on the undercarriage. All the typical rust spots on comanches are solid, rockers, above rear wheel openings and cab corners. Drivers side front floor panel was professionally replaced with a reproduction panel. Rust was from inside likely caused by snow on feet. Passenger side floor is perfect with all factory paint as shown in pic. As shown in pictures it does have some surface rust spots where paint had been nicked. These would be easy to repair, I didn't want to cover over any of it's flaws as they are minor and this is an original paint truck in a rare factory two tone, stirling silver (3D) and grenadine metallic (BD). Jeep had running boards that I removed because one was bent slightly, can include if buyer want them. Headliner needs replacing and new fabric is included. Rest of interior is in very good condition except for lower seat on drivers side as shown in pics. Has tilt wheel and cruise and an aftermarket stereo. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country, but it is over 25 years old so being sold "as is" . The state of Maine does not title vehicles older than 1995, so jeep is being sold with bill of sale, (notarized if need be for your state) and current state registration. I don't want to over sell or under sell the condition of this Comanche. It is an honest survivor with low mileage and can be driven and enjoyed as is, or would be excellent starting point for restoration needing only seat recovering and paint job. No underbody or mechanical work is needed and tires are all good as well.
