1971 CJ5 Jeep. This is a V6 model. It looks to be all original. Been in storage for 20 years before I got it. New brake system including new pads and new brake cylinders completely redone. Also new rotor cap, points, and condenser and new plugs. New gas cap. The guy who did the brakes for me was under the jeep and he didn't see anything rusted out other than surface rust nor do I see anything other than surface rust. Fresh oil change. Starts and runs good. No oil leaks that I can see. I did park this on a concrete slab for several days and I didn't see any oil leaks. Gears are shifting good and are quiet. Drives good down the road. This jeep starts, runs, drives, stops, and travels straight down the road as it should. Everything is in working order like it should be. It would be an excellent one to restore. Lights, heater, speedometer, windshield wipers, temperature gauge, blinkers, head lights, lock out hubs all work. Tires are good. Spare tire. This jeep is not rusted out and is in good shape for a 1971 model. We didn't find anything mechanically wrong. Runs great. I personally think you won't find another 1971 jeep with only 32000 miles in this good of shape. It is above average condition for a 1971 model.
