Here we have an exceptionally rare car albeit in very rough condition as found in a field and rescued from the crushers . This is a factory W code 427 4 barrel 4 speed car as shown by the Marti Report : 1 of 11 Fairlane 500 2 door hardtops built in 1967 with the 427 4 barrel and 4 speed originally delivered to Harrisonburg , VA . We have a clear title . Data plate decoding provided by the Marti Report . The VIN # 7H35W213289 data plate door tag decodes as a : 7 = 1967 H = Assembled in Lorain 35 = Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop W = Engine 427 cubic inch 410 hp 4 barrel ( 4 V ) 213289 = order of production The next lower line on the door tag : 63B V 4A 27F 17 7 5 decodes as follows : 63B: 2 Door Hardtop V: Burnt Amber Paint 4A: Black Vinyl Bench Seat 27F: June 27th , 1967 Production Date 17: Washington DSO 7: 3.89 Conventional Rear Axle 5: 4 Speed Manual Transmission Please review all the pictures and ask all the questions you want. You must ID this car and all of its components to your satisfaction. This car is sold as is and where is and must be hauled away on a rollback or trailer with a winch. All sales are final. Make no mistake this car NEEDS IT ALL. There are dents and dings from front to back. Some of the glass is missing off the doors and the car comes with some replacement door glass from a junkyard. You can see through the floor in some places. The best might be to find a donor body and transfer over all the special components such as the shock towers, front disc brakes, etc. Remnants of the special transistorized ignition are on the inside fender well. The heads show a C3AE H code as early 427 heads. The intake appears to be a 2 x 4 barrel low riser. There was a hood on the car when stored and picked up. The valve cover was removed to take pictures. I cannot ID the block or the trans although the block does not have cross bolt mains.
