CAR IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC. You are bidding on one mostly complete 1962 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet. 118H Series. Matching numbers. 4 Speed. Odometer showing 46K miles. The car runs great (see video). However, the car is not drive able. Brake system will need refurbishing. Clutch pedal works but does not want to return to upright position, so I could not test the transmission out...though it appears fine. Transmission goes into all gears, all suspension intact and functioning. There is no title for the car, as this would probably be best for a parts/donor car. I do not have the keys for the car either. I rescued this from a local fellow and got it running to pass it along to someone who can use it. Car is mostly complete. Interior panels and seats pretty much not there however. The pictures tell the story. It does run very well, so the engine itself is well worth the opening bid price. NO EXTRA PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES IS EVERYTHING I HAVE. Carburetor was rebuilt, oil changed, new spark plugs installed...and she cranked right up. I was going to make a "Euro patina rat-rod" out of this, but the floors were too rusty for me to do so. If one wanted to, they could fix the floors, clear-coat the body, get brakes working and have a really neat, unique ride. TONS OF PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF CAR RUNNING AT BOTTOM OF LISTING. I have posted additional photos showing condition of the rocker panels of the car per request from a fellow user. The wheels and tires are in very good condition. The only major items missing are interior panels of course, the original wheels/hubcaps, passenger side air cleaner tube and round portion of air cleaner (I have the cleaner section that attaches directly to carb), seats(they were rotted away, not worth saving). Everything else is here....EVERYTHING. All wiring present and unmolested. All lamps, lights, interior switches, controls, etc...Top frame is is good condition and functions well. Top latches present and functioning as well. The windshield does have a small crack towards the passenger side at the bottom but i could not get it to show up in pictures. Door glass is in good condition. The body of the car is actually in pretty good condition for it's current state. The bottoms of the door skins are rusted away, but most of the rest of the body quite solid. Rockers are very solid. The worst rust is in the floors. The doors shut good, but do need some help here and there, latches just need some lubricating. Grill is PERFECT, tail lights are driver quality, all chrome and stainless trim is in great condition except hood trim at base of hood has a couple of rusted through spots and headlight rings are corroded through at bottoms. I have the rocker trim pieces (see photos). The front bumper has a few small tweaks to it but could easily be straightened out, it is not rusted through. Rear bumper is nice and straight mostly, not rusted through either. NOT INCLUDED IN AUCTION ARE THE FOLLOWING: Battery, auxiliary fuel tank and pump used to get engine running.
