This 1949 Chevy Five window truck was bought at a estate sale where the previous owner had plans to make it a daily driver. Because it is still orginal paint and you can see that the truck is basically rust free, (see video and pics) I decided not to paint the truck and leave it original to display the great petina and rarity of this truck! (still has sheriffs door badge on side of the door in great shape on passenger door)

It has a great running 216 6 cyl engine that I did a complete tune up to (points ,plugs ,condesor, etc) and rebuilt the carb along with the master cylinder and re did the front breaks and lines so that the truck stops good.

I put a new clutch and pressure plate in the truck and the truck now starts and runs great with no knocks misses, or smoke and it shifts all 4 gears, and reverse great. This truck goes down the road as the video shows and is ready for the new owner to enjoy while taking it to the next level or leave it with the amazing petina the way it is and enjoy the heck out of it. All of the galss is there as pictures and the windows go up and down and the doors shut the way they should. If you would take this truck to the next level, I would put a new wire harness on (200 dollars LMC truck) and new tires, (although these tires do hold air) and i would redo the rear brakes. I would clean the gas tank out or replace it($200 from LMC truck) I am running the truck now off a aux gas tank and a 12 volt battery/coil.

Overall, this is one rare find being that the truck is so solid, runs and drives great where you can use it everyday while playing with it, and that it is a 5 window truck! I do not want to overcall it or undercall it as it is 68 years old. Let the video, pictures, and description tell the story!
