This 1951 Packard 200 4 door Sedan is a real eye catcher and head turner to all, young and old alike. It starts drives and stops very well. It has a 288 cubic inches (4.7 L) 8-cylinder in-line engine with a newer 2 barrel carburetor, great on gas. Cleaned and repaired gas tank. This Classic has been rewired with a 12V Painless wiring harness conversion with GM 80 amp alternator, new battery. The original Three on the tree Manual Transmission with a new clutch shifts well through all gears. A great ride that has no clearance issues around town. It has newer styled Diamond Back Classic Radial Wide White Wall Tires on 15” Stock rims and rare Poverty Pack caps. The drivers’ side flat side glass is cracked, while the back window and the rest of the glass appear original and considered usable. This Sedan has been enjoyed in the as found state as you see it, Drive as is or restore it. I have driven this car several times in traffic and never had any issues from overheating or stalling. The interior is original and very comfortable. The stock bench seats are like living room couches on wheels, though the original seat fabric has worn threw all the stuffing, padding and springs are there. Covered in Serape Mexican blankets for that "Kustom Kulture" look. The door panels also show their age with the drivers included in the trunk. Most of the dash lights still need to be converted over to 12v as well as the windshield wipers. All running lights function as they should. The body is straight and solid overall, that said some rust repair is still needed (see pics) non-structural. Shot in a Older Black Enamel paint that shows its age but well with a lot of character. The area needing most repair is a older dent on the drivers side of the hood. The floors show signs of older rust repairs and are very solid. This is a California car and has always been to the best of my knowledge with clear California title and current registration. Visible Vin and Body Tags. She doesn't smoke, drink or drip all over the garage. Great on gas, I drive this car regularly getting 18/20 mpg. Drive as is or restore it, must see to appreciate!!!
