Stunning and Classic original 1981 Vette that drives as it did in 1981. Since I purchased a similar Vette brand new in 1981, I know what I am talking about. I've kept this Vette in a heated garage since my purchase and have driven less than 1,000 miles, and only on nice days. I purchased this as a fun long term investment knowing it will do nothing but increase in value. With the return of the Stingray, the C3 has become a more desirable body style and fewer and fewer remain with this low mileage and condition. I researched the cars history when I purchased, had a premier Corvette Mechanic look the car over and from the minute you sit in the drivers seat and start to drive this car, you will know it will be hard to find a nicer 33 year old Vette. Black Paint is glossy and shiny, not sure if it's original, but up close has the typical fiberglass flecks from age but nothing too severe, otherwise I wouldn't have hesitated to paint it. The interior and the engine compartment are spotless, as is the undercarriage of the car. This is the real deal, an original well cared for, beautifully running Vette that shifts smoothly, has all mechanicals working properly and will not disappoint. I am selling to free up garage space as I rarely have time to enjoy the car and I'd like to keep my everyday vehicle indoor this Winter. I sold it last Winter for 17k and the buyer couldn't come through with all the money so I will give it a run this week. I put a low reseve and the first 15k will take it home.
