A unique feature of this car is the ingenious Clamshell Tailgate, which slides into a recess under the cargo floor. The power-operated rear glass slides up into the roof. The power tailgate can be operated either by a switch on the instrument panel or a key switch on the rear quarter panel. The disappearing Glide-away tailgate makes it easier to load/unload these long wagons in tight spaces. The rear of this wagon features gorgeous wrap-around side windows and beautiful taillights. The raked body styling, woodgrain panelling, and streamlined design of the roof rack all add to its beauty. Excellent rust-free exterior. Completely solid strong undercarriage.
