Vehicle Detail

Hi, I am selling my best friend's 1967 Ford Mustang. It kills him to sell it but he needs the garage space. His wife and two kids really want to park in the garage for winter. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer your questions or will find out the answers to your questions. I have personally been around this car for the last 20 years. This was the first car for a very good friend of mine back in high school. It was partially restored when he got it. The drive train, engine compartment, and interior was restored prior to him purchasing it. The car was regularly driven for the first 2-3 years. Then it was occasionally driven for the next 7-8 years. My best friend bought it during this time and continued the restoration. The next/last10 years it has been stored in his garage and hasn't been on the road. It runs and drives but will need a little work to make it a daily driver or weekend cruiser. It needs a little brake work and everything would need a good once over just to make sure everything is ok after sitting for so long. It has a leaky wheel cylinder causing the fluid to run out causing the brakes not to currently work. It recently had a new gas tank, fuel pump, and carb installed on it. The old tank had rust in it from sitting. The carb still needs some adjusting. It is cold natured when first started. My friend had an appraisal done on it a few years ago. The car appraised for $18,500. I have a complete copy of the appraisal and would be happy to provide a copy of it. Just contact me and I will send you a copy of it. This car is a very fun Mustang. The 289 is extremely powerful for such a small car and who doesn't like to drive a manual transmission. This car is in good condition for a car that is almost 50 years old. It isn't perfect and it will take a little work to make it road worthy but this is the perfect time of year to get a "barn find" like this. There is a small soft spot on the floor near where your heal would rest on the passenger side. I can get you a picture of this if you would like. Tinker with it over the winter and you will be ready to cruise next spring. The mustang has 7000 miles on it since it was restored. It was restored to mostly original condition. It has classic Cragar SS wheels that are a little wider than stock. The car is a numbers matching car. If you would like to come see it and are local let me know and we can arrange to meet. I also have more pictures or if you would like to see something else please let me know and I will do what I can to get that for you. I have tried to described it the best I can. Its a great car but needs a little TLC to get it back on the road or to make a show quality restoration. Also if you want really detailed information I can send you the appraisal which thoroughly goes through the whole car. I also have a stack of receipts and documents from work that was done to the car over the years. Good Luck Bidding!!! If you have 0 Feed Back please contact me prior to bidding. I also am by no means a Mustang expert. If you have any specific questions please ask or if you are close by you are more than welcome to check it out. There has been a few questions about the car. This is all excerpts taken from the inspections... The vehicle passed an NSRA.23 Point Safety Inspection and it is in decent running condition. The care was graded an 86 out of a possible 100. This mean the vehicle is in "Outstanding +" condition and fully optioned. Either restored or original, Requires minor detail work for concours status. Mechanically very good to excellent. Again if you would like to see the full appraisal let me know and I would be happy to send it to you. The car appraised for better than $18,500. I am not a mustang expert. I know very little about vintage mustangs. If you have questions feel free to ask. It is a good car and will make someone very happy. Now is the perfect time to buy a car like this!! Thanks and Happy Bidding.
