Vehicle Detail

Engine: 5.7L (350 cu. in.) L05 V8, Throttle Body Fuel Injection (210 HP, 300 ft/lb)Transmission: 4-Speed 4L60 4-Speed Automatic w/OverdriveMileage: 140888 The truck comes well equipped with power windows & power door locks, power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, intermittent wipers, tilt steering wheel, bucket reclining seats, factory alloy rims, roof rack, side-steps, and towing package. It also has the original and unique two-tone "Sport" package with gloss white upper on anthracite black lower with matching black fender flares and factory tinted side and rear glass. This has always been an awesome look on these Chevys, and is still very popular today. With the two-doors ending production in 1999, this body style is also becoming more collectible and increasingly harder to find in this condition and level of originality. When I originally purchased this '92 Blazer, I envisioned a complete make-over into a "monster truck". Alas, with too many other projects, and too many other commitments on my time and resources, I finally have to admit I have to let this one go. So, my loss is your gain. I had already put a lot of work into this truck (more than $2000 – all receipts available), bringing it up to full daily-driver status, addressing most of the items that start to go bad around this mileage including: - Changed Oil & Oil Filter - Complete Tune-Up (8 Spark Plugs, Distributor Cap, Rotor, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, PCV) - Replaced Spark Plug Wires - Replaced Upper Radiator Hose, Lower Radiator Hose, & Thermostat - Reverse Flushed Radiator & Refilled with 50/50 Mix of Fresh Coolant & Distilled Water - Replaced Alternator & Battery - Replaced Water Pump & Serpentine Belt - Replaced Windshield Wiper Motor & Hose Lines - Replaced Front Brake Pads and Front Rotors & Adjusted Rear Brake Drums - Replaced Idler Arm, Pitman Arm, Inner & Outer Tie Rods (both sides), and Front End Alignment - Includes 5-Layer Breathable Car Cover Naturally, there are few things I've noticed that could still use some work: - Paint's a bit oxidized and could use a good buffing. Black is peeling a little on the side. - Tires are about 20% (I was thinking of putting on some big mudders with the lift) - Muffler is bent and could use replacing - "Custom Dash" has quirks (I'd just go get a used instrument panel and swap it out) - Need to install sun visors (have them, just haven't had the time to install them) - Blower motor squeals a little, could use a replacement - Rear hatch doesn't "spring" open, & rear hatch struts are weak and need replacing (but the hatch opens with a rear key just fine) - A/C is inop, and could use a conversion to R-134a Overall, this truck runs strong, straight, and smooth. The 350 V-8 with Throttle Body Injection starts right up every time with no smoke and has plenty of torque. The transmission moves through all the gears like it should with no strange noises. The 4x4 engages smoothly and works great. There's no rust that I can see. All-in-all it's pretty well sorted, needing just a few things to make it nearly new again. I drove this truck recently cross-country to Columbus, Ohio and back again, and had no complaints. It would make an excellent plow truck, or reliable winter vehicle. Winter's here! Be ready for the snow!! Thanks for looking. (Please Note: If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks or any negative feedback on ebay, please contact me before bidding or I will have to cancel your bid due to the very high prevalence of non-paying bidders. Thank you.)
