Vehicle Detail

This auction is for my other project car; a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia. See my other auctions for the toys that I'm also selling. Let's face it Ghia's are so ugly that they're pretty. I brought this car home with the intention of flipping it for a small profit, but my daughter and wife fell in love with it. I started working on her and replaced most of the issues. If you've ever priced Ghia sheet metal, you'll understand that this is an expensive car to replace metal on. I have replaced inner and outer rocker panels, floors, lower from apron, quarter panels, bumper mounts, etc. There are no gremlins left to wonder about. I've sought them all out and killed them. This being said, I need this car gone. I've started a new business and this car is sitting in the middle of my shop. Ghia's do not have a huge following nor do they demand a huge price. This would be a good car for someone to purchase and flip. My reserve price is less than the cost of the sheet metal it took to get it to this point. I lowered the body back down on the frame two weeks ago and have been moving it in and out of the garage on a dolly. The frame has been coated with POR 15 rust preventative paint over new floor pans and spotlessly cleaned frame tunnel. I have many, many parts for the car. The doors, hood and engine lid are in very good shape. All of the glass is intact and goes with it. Basically, if you buy the car, we'll gut my shed of all VW related parts and throw em' in on the deal. (This does not include anything for the Singlecab that I have in the other auction.) I have a stock front end for the car. It is original and uncut. I have the trailing arms, transmission, etc. This car was a basket case when I got it. Most of it was already taken apart. From where it is now, it would be an easy fix. I just don't have the time and I'm launching a new gun safe business called the Mother Firearm Retrieval System (MotherFrs.com) Please ask any and all questions. You're getting a heck of a deal!
